An ex-soldier visits the family of his war buddy in Key Largo only to find the family-owned hotel occupied by a gangster and his cronies.  Tensions rise as a hurricane approaches and traps everyone in the hotel to ride out the storm.  This film noir classic was the fourth and final film in which Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall starred together as well as the fifth and final time Bogart appeared with Edward G. Robinson.  A great supporting cast includes Lionel Barrymore and Claire Trevor, who won a Best Supporting Actress for her role as Robinson’s boozy mistress. Directed by John Huston.
