An artist remarries his mistress after the death of his invalid first wife.  His new wife becomes suspicious after he begins painting the portrait of another beautiful woman, she learns more about his past and starts to feel ill.  The Two Mrs. Carrolls is an interesting crime drama featuring two of Noir’s biggest names.  Stars Humphrey Bogart, Barbara Stanwick, Alexis Smith, Nigel Bruce, Isobel Elsom, Patrick O’Moore, and Ann Carter.  Directed by Peter Godfrey.
