In the first of many films about The Wolf Man, Lawrence Talbot returns to his ancestral home in Wales after the death of his brother. One night he is attacked and bitten by a wolf, an event that changes his life forever. One of the best of the Universal Classic Monsters films with an outstanding cast and an engaging story. Stars Lon Chaney, Jr., Claude Rains, Ralph Bellamy, Patric Knowles, Evelyn Ankers and Maria Ouspenskaya. Directed by George Waggner.
