NIGHT OF THE IGUANA (1964)

A clergyman recovering from alcoholism and a scandal becomes a tour guide in Mexico. He finds himself involved with three women while trying to escape a past that is haunting him. Based on the play by Tennessee Williams, the story drags a bit but is rescued by fine performances and directing. Starring Richard Burton, Deborah Kerr, Eva Gardner, Sue Lyon, Skip Ward, Grayson Hall and Cyril Delevanti. Directed by John Huston.
