A group of American paratroopers is dropped behind enemy lines in Burma to destroy a radar station. After destroying the station, they find their extraction point overrun and begin a long trek through the jungle toward their own base. They are hunted by Japanese troops every step of the way until making a last stand on a hill they have been ordered to. This well-done film made near the end of the war featured realistic uniforms and equipment but was criticized in the United Kingdom for emphasizing the role of American soldiers over those of other nations. Starring Errol Flynn, James Brown, William Prince, George Tobias and Henry Hull. Directed by Raoul Walsh.
