Nuclear tests in the Arctic thaw a dinosaur from the ice and it sets out for New York City leaving a path of destruction in its wake. Nice example of 1950s science fiction where we are our own worst enemy featuring outstanding Ray Harryhausen special effects, especially in the final amusement park scene. Watch for Lee Van Cleef making an early appearance as a soldier assigned to kill the monster. Starring Paul Christian, Paula Raymond, Cecil Kellaway, Kenneth Tobey, Donald Woods, and Lee Van Cleef. Directed by Eugene Lourie.
