As the Old West disappears, a group of aging outlaws looks for one last big score. After the band rides into an ambush in Texas, the survivors flee to Mexico. There, they take a job from a corrupt and treacherous general while pursued by a posse from Texas. The Wild Bunch is known for its graphic violence and realistic portrayal of the Old West, as well as its complex characters and themes of loyalty, betrayal, and honor among thieves. The movie was a critical and commercial success, and it remains a beloved classic of the Western genre to this day.
