A career criminal, Doc McCoy, is paroled and immediately becomes part of a new heist. Along with his wife and two henchmen provided by a crime boss, they rob a Texas bank. Their careful planning goes awry when one of the henchmen kills the bank guard and the other decides to take everything for himself. The couple goes on the run with the stolen loot pursued by the police, the crime boss and the henchman. Set against the backdrop of a stark Texas landscape, this stylish crime drama weaves a tale of high-stakes suspense.
